Delete Your Account
Learn how to delete your DriveFlo account and data
7-Day Grace Period
When you request account deletion, your account enters a 7-day grace period. During this time:
- Your account will be deactivated immediately
- You can cancel the deletion by signing back in within 7 days
- After 7 days, all data will be permanently deleted
Changed your mind? Simply sign in within 7 days to restore your account.
After 7 Days: Deletion is Permanent
Once the grace period ends, deleting your account will permanently remove all your data including:
- All mileage entries and trip logs
- All expense records
- All uploaded receipt images
- Your profile and vehicle information
- All generated reports and history
This action cannot be undone after the grace period. Please export your data before deleting your account if you need to keep records for tax purposes.
Method 1: Delete from the App (Recommended)
The easiest way to delete your account is directly from the DriveFlo app:

Open DriveFlo
Launch the DriveFlo app on your device

Go to Settings
Tap the gear icon in the top right corner or navigate to Settings from the menu

Scroll to "Account" section
Find the Account management options at the bottom of settings

Tap "Delete Account"
This option is shown in red text

Confirm Deletion
Read the warning and confirm by tapping "Delete My Account"
Your account and all associated data will be deleted immediately upon confirmation.
Method 2: Request Deletion via Email
If you cannot access the app or prefer to request deletion by email, you can contact us directly:
Send an email to:
support@drivefloapp.comPlease include in your email:
- Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- The email address associated with your DriveFlo account
- Your full name (as registered in the app)
- Confirmation that you understand this action is permanent
We will process your deletion request within 7 business days and send a confirmation email once complete.
What Data Gets Deleted?
Permanently Deleted
- • Your account credentials
- • Profile information
- • Vehicle details
- • All mileage entries
- • All expense records
- • All receipt images
- • Subscription history (in our system)
- • App preferences and settings
Retained Separately
- • Google Play/App Store purchase records (managed by Google/Apple)
- • Any data you exported before deletion
- • Anonymized analytics data that cannot identify you
To cancel your subscription, visit your Google Play or App Store subscription settings.
Don't Forget: Cancel Your Subscription
Deleting your DriveFlo account does not automatically cancel your subscription. To avoid future charges, you must cancel your subscription separately:
Google Play (Android)
- Open Google Play Store
- Tap Menu → Subscriptions
- Find DriveFlo
- Tap Cancel subscription
App Store (iOS)
- Open Settings on your iPhone
- Tap your name → Subscriptions
- Find DriveFlo
- Tap Cancel Subscription
Export Your Data First
Before deleting your account, we recommend exporting your data for your records:
- Open DriveFlo and go to the Export tab
- Select date range for the data you want to export

Choose export format:
- PDF - Formatted reports for tax filing
- CSV - Spreadsheet format for your records
- Download your exports and save them to a secure location
Note: Export features require an active Pro subscription. If your subscription has expired, contact support for a data export.
Data Retention Timeline
When you request account deletion:
- Days 1-7 (Grace Period): Account is deactivated but data is preserved. Sign in to cancel deletion.
- Day 8: Personal data is permanently deleted from our active systems
- Within 30 days: Backup systems are purged
- Anonymized, non-identifiable analytics data may be retained for service improvement
- We may retain certain information if required by law (e.g., transaction records for tax compliance)
